The University of California (Davis Department of Environmental Toxicology) researchers found that 2”-0-GIV in green barley is the most potent anti-oxidant. Under the exposure of UV, the protection of 2”-0-GIV to the skin is 500 times more potent than Vitamin E. 2”-0-GIV is also superior to Vitamin C in the prevention of the hardening of veins and the prevention of degenerative disease.
